What we collect
Contact details you give us (name, company, email, telephone), shipment details (origin, destination, commodity, volume, weight, value), and the documents needed to clear cargo (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, permits, certificates). If you use the website forms, we also receive the message text and the date and time of submission.
Why we use it
- To prepare quotations, bookings and customs declarations
- To correspond with carriers, terminals, port authorities and insurers about your cargo
- To issue invoices and meet statutory record-keeping duties
- To answer enquiries sent through the website
Who we share it with
Only where the movement of cargo requires it: shipping lines and airlines, terminal operators, the Sierra Leone Ports Authority, the National Revenue Authority, insurers and, for transit cargo, onward partners. We do not sell personal data.
How long we keep it
Customs and accounting records are held for six years from the end of the relevant financial year. Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted after twelve months.
Cookies
The website sets only functional cookies plus, where enabled, an analytics cookie. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are used. You can block cookies in your browser without losing access to any page.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask for deletion where no statutory retention applies. Write to office@amulomanexusshipping.com and we will respond within thirty days.
Security
Paper files are kept in a locked office and digital records on access-controlled systems. Email is not encrypted end to end, so avoid sending card numbers by email.
